Track Sessions
In addition, Small Business at Work, The Self Employment Opportunity Summit will have 5 Track Sessions where aspiring and existing entrepreneurs can learn and uncover opportunities. The Session Tracks are:

  • Exploring Entrepreneurship “Is Entrepreneurship Right for You”,
    A series of workshops that will assist to evaluate if entrepreneurship is the right path for you. It will include informational sessions on what it means to be an entrepreneur, and legal considerations when starting a business as well as an overview of business training available that will ultimately help achieve sustainability.

  • Funding Opportunities “Need Credit, Need Money, Need Help…”
    A series of informational seminars from different source of funding will be available during the day to help small business either start or grow a small business.

  • Business Opportunities “What should I do?”
    A special focus on franchise and immediate contract opportunities. First, entrepreneurs will learn about general considerations before starting a franchise or contracting with government or corporations. In addition to opportunities in US, a special session on trade will be host.

  • Small Business in a Green Economy “What is a Green Economy?”
    Finally, a panel of experts will discuss the importance of conserving resources and using green products. Entrepreneurs will learn how to go green gradually and how it will impact their business and their environment. Moreover, Opportunities in the green industry will be presented.
